Funerals

The death of a loved one is never easy, during this initial period of grief you are suddenly faced with many decisions to make. Many people have already decided on what they wish should happen when they die, such as burial or cremation, leaving those left with a little less to decide. Despite this there is still the ceremony to arrange, let me help you. I am able to write and conduct bespoke and personalised funeral services to remember your loved ones. If you wish, I will liaise with your chosen funeral director or other professionals involved.

Many funerals are now seen more as a celebration of life, where family and friends can be involved by sharing stories or read heartfelt eulogies written themselves. We can meet for an informal chat, at a destination convenient for you, where you can tell me all about your loved one and how you’d like to celebrate their life. I can develop, write and deliver the service you want to remember them by.

My fee for funeral ceremonies is £250.00 within a 35 mile radius of Ross-on-Wye . Travel costs will be incurred @ 45p per mile thereafter.

There is no fee for babies or children under the age of 16.
